Mr. N had concerns about a receding hairline on both sides of his forehead, forming an M-shaped pattern, along with thinning hair around the frontal hairline that appeared uneven. He therefore consulted Dr. Peera at MP Clinic Chiang Mai in August 2023.

During the consultation, Dr. Peera performed a scalp and hair follicle examination using a specialized scope to determine the underlying cause of hair loss. The assessment also helped evaluate the severity of the condition before planning an appropriate treatment strategy.

The doctor scheduled my hair transplant for November 2024, using the Long Hair DHI technique. This method allows the use of long hair for transplantation without shaving the head, which is perfect for clients who want to see immediate results. In my case, a total of 1,192 grafts were transplanted.

Immediately after the transplant, I could already see the newly implanted hairs because the strands were still long. My scalp showed some slight redness and swelling, but this gradually improved within 3–7 days.

14 days after the transplant, I could clearly see that the frontal hairline area was starting to look denser.

In the fourth month after the transplant, the newly transplanted hair started to grow longer, stronger, and noticeably thicker compared to the previous month. At this stage, around 50–60% of the transplanted area was already covered with new hair growth.

At 8 months after the transplant, my hairline had become much fuller, with thicker strands and enough length to style. The new growth blended seamlessly with my natural hair, giving a very natural look. I felt so much more confident — even tying my hair up was something I could now do with ease and confidence.
