A 46-year-old customer from the United States of America had a problem with both sides of her forehead receding in an M shape. He came to consult with Dr. Peera at MP Clinic Chiang Mai in November 2023. After coming in, the doctor performed an endoscopic examination of the hair roots to find the cause of the hair loss and assess the severity level before planning a treatment.

After the endoscopic examination, the doctor stated that the customer had a level 4 baldness problem. The appropriate treatment was hair transplant surgery using 2800 grafts. The health of the customer’s hair roots in the donor area was weak. It was necessary to receive hair root nourishment and medication first. The doctor therefore prescribed the customer a tonic and scheduled a hair transplant in January 2024.

Entering the second year, the customer decided to undergo hair transplant surgery on the center of the head with the same doctor.
In this consultation, the doctor checked and examined the hair follicles at the back of the head with a camera to see if there were enough hairs to transplant.
After the doctor checked and saw that it was still possible to have a second round of hair transplant, the doctor still recommended a DHI hair transplant using the same technique as the first hair transplant. This time, the doctor assessed from the hair at the back and the area where the hair would be transplanted that approximately 1,300 grafts could be transplanted.
